Biographies

Mark D. Levitt, Esq.

Mark LevittMr. Levitt is a founding partner of Levitt & Gordon and has been serving the community as an attorney for more than thirty years. He began his career in law as the Confidential Law Secretary to Hon. Edward F. McLaughlin, Justice of the Supreme Court, Fourth Department. His practice focuses on Real Property, Commercial Law, Creditors Rights Law, Zoning and Planning, Landlord and Tenant, Foreclosures and Workouts. In addition, he has a wealth of experience handling land transactions in the Adirondack Park.

Mr. Levitt is a graduate of Boston University, where he earned his Bachelor's Degree, and of the Syracuse University College of Law, where he earned is Juris Doctorate. He is admitted to the New York Bar and the Northern District of New York Federal Bar. He is a member of the Oneida County, New York State and American Bar Associations, and currently serves as the Chairman of the Oneida County Bar Association's Grievance Committee.

Mr. Levitt lives with his family in Oneida County where he enjoys gardening, spending time at his camp in Old Forge, and his dog, Spencer.

Dean L. Gordon, Esq.

Dean GordonMr. Gordon has been serving the community as a partner of Levitt & Gordon since 1982, focusing his practice on Domestic Relations Law and Family Court Law, and is qualified as a Collaborative Family Law practitioner. He earned his Bachelor's Degree from Hartwick College in Oneonta, New York, and his Juris Doctorate from the New England School of Law in Boston, Massachusetts. In addition to the New York State Bar, Mr. Gordon is admitted to the Northern District of New York Federal Bar and the Second Circuit Court of Appeals Bar.

Mr. Gordon currently serves at the President of Mohawk Valley Association of Collaborative Law Professionals, Inc. and is also qualified as a Law Guardian as per rules of the Appellate Division, 4th Dept.

Mr. Gordon and his family live in Oneida County, New York, where he has served as teacher of Karate at Utica College for past 30 years and restores vintage automobiles in his spare time.

Caroline L. Levitt, Esq.

Caroline LevittMs. Levitt holds a B.A. in Political Science with a Minor in International Studies from Wake Forest University. She earned a Juris Doctorate from Syracuse University where she graduated cum laude and was Lead Articles Editor of the Syracuse Law Review.

Ms. Levitt's legal practice at Levitt & Gordon is focused on Estate and Trust Planning, including Wills, Trusts, Health Care Proxies and Powers of Attorney.

Ms. Levitt is married and donates time, talent, and resources to many local organizations including the Resource Center for Independent Living, Mohawk Valley Business Women's Network and Metro Utica Business and Professional Women.
